Nature of This Resource

This is a private reference site. It does not hold government authority, store official custody files, or speak for an agency. Site operators cannot release a person, change a record, confirm a current jail status, file a court paper, accept a bond, or give instructions on behalf of Oakland County Jail or MDOC.

The pages identify government offices, public locators, court resources, and outside research tools that may help a visitor find source material. Any official confirmation must come from the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, the relevant court, MDOC, or the federal or immigration agency that created the record.

Rules for Acceptable Use

Use must be lawful, respectful, and consistent with the limited reference purpose of the site. By using it, you agree that you will not:

• Break a local, Michigan, federal, or other applicable law
• Use information to stalk, threaten, harass, or harm another person

No Consumer Reports

Oakland County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its search and advertising partners do not offer screening services through this site. You agree not to use any page, search result, linked result, or record reference for:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or another employment decision
• Tenant selection, housing access, or a lease decision
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance premiums and coverage
• Licensing, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA

A link is supplied for convenience and does not mean that the destination is owned, endorsed, or guaranteed by this site. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Oakland County Released Inmates and those involved in operating it will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, use of linked services, or loss of data. This limit applies regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if the possibility of harm was known.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oakland County Released Inmates, its operators, and its content partners from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees that arise from your use of the site, your misuse of information, your violation of another person’s rights, or your breach of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Unless another owner is identified, original text, graphics, logos, page design, and code belong to Oakland County Released Inmates or its content partners and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. You may not reproduce, publish, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works from those materials without prior written permission. Government records and agency materials remain subject to their own ownership and access rules.

Updates to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version becomes effective when it is posted on this page. Continued use after posting means that you accept the revised conditions. Check this page when you need the current version.

Suspension or Loss of Access

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, for any lawful reason, and without advance notice. This right includes action taken to protect the site, its users, its partners, or another person from suspected misuse or disruption.

Michigan Law Applies

Michigan law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that may properly proceed in court must be filed in a court with jurisdiction in Michigan. Nothing in this section changes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

Terms Remain Severable

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in effect. The affected language will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable while preserving its intended purpose.
